Our Story

Stephens Farm is owned and operated by Scott & Kelly Stephens. Together we farm in Laurens with our five wonderful children- Morgan, Jason, Aubrey, Paisley and Wesley. Crazy chaotic? It is and we love every second of it!! On our 68-acre farm we have our beef that is raised for finish steers, and we also have a small cow calf operation. We kept a few of our favorites Hereford and White Park cows when we switched to black angus ☺️. Baby season is my absolute favorite time of year. I love to post pictures of our farms next generation. On the farm we also have blue heelers, 5 horses (one is due to foal soon! Be ready for pictures!) two donkeys, Flemish giant and Mini Lops rabbits and finally chickens! As first-generation farmers, we have worked up from literally nothing, to a fully operational farm; and we are grateful every day!

Scott and I live locally in Richfield Springs, right now we do not live on the farm. Some day we will! Until that day comes though, we keep our freezers in a small building at our home that is covered from the elements and kept private. This is to ensure the meat is kept cold if the power ever goes out and also the freezers stay closed. It is our goal to build a farm shop close to the farm. What we do now for orders is when people order meat; you’re more than welcome to come look or I always arrange to meet you somewhere.

We love our life on the farm and we’re so excited that we get to share it with all of you! Scott and I strive to always produce the very best local family raised beef to our community.
